Barcelona Wood Workshops was born in January 2018 when we (Andrea Cortés and Jorge Centurión) decided to start offering courses from the shared workshop where we worked.

With the aim of bringing woodworking closer to the general public and starting from the making process of a specific product, we launched the first workshop: Make a Cheese Board.

Analyzing the range of courses available in Barcelona, we saw a clear opportunity to offer woodworking experiences or "recreational woodworking" courses, as Jorge calls them.

Every year we organize courses with renowned international professors such as Ricardo Graham Ferreira, Sebastián Mateu and Hernán Costa.

We are also grateful to offer other courses by talented colleagues: Beatriz Zuazo, Bernat Mercader, Pavel Doltu and Luthier Nicolás R. Guerra

Barcelona Wood Workshops is not a franchise. It is a project that has grown slowly and with the constant work of people passionate about woodworking.
